10,210-hectare Central Queensland property Rockland Spring, offering an estimated 3,500 adult cattle equivalents, was sold for $48.25m. The freehold Comet property has a mix of 6,220ha (15,360 acres) of scrub pastures, 3,000ha (7,410 acres) of tableland country, and 500ha (1,235 acres) of escarpment country. The buyer, a local family, was among four registered bidders active at the auction in Emerald.
