Fonterra appoints Anna Palairet as permanent COO, succeeding Fraser Whineray.
Fonterra has appointed Anna Palairet as its permanent Chief Operating Officer (COO). Palairet has acted in this role since June 2023, replacing Fraser Whineray who left the co-op for venture capital and investing. CEO Miles Hurrell praised Palairet's valuable expertise and strong relationship focus, having previously held senior leadership roles at Air New Zealand and joining Fonterra in October 2022 as Global Supply Chain Director.
