The Bicentennial Bridge in Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, Michigan, has reopened after repairs. The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and a contracted crew completed the replacement of a failed hydraulic cylinder, allowing the bridge to resume normal operations and boat traffic to move through once again. The bridge had been closed since March 27 due to the part failure.
