Azerbaijan's parliament has approved a draft law to create artificial land plots in the country's portion of the Caspian Sea for construction purposes. The law, which was discussed in the Milli Majlis, outlines the creation of land parcels in the sea by transporting and pouring or spreading soil. These artificial land plots will be constructed in accordance with Azerbaijan's Urban Planning and Construction Code.
