In South Brisbane, a toddler is in critical condition after being hit by a truck while crossing the road with their mother. The incident occurred on Browns Plains Road and Webber Drive at 8:40 am on Thursday. The toddler sustained serious head injuries and was taken to Queensland Children's Hospital. Police closed the left lane of Browns Plains Road and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
