39-year-old NHL veteran Jeff Carter announced his retirement after a 19-season career that included two Stanley Cup championships. Carter played for the Philadelphia Flyers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Los Angeles Kings, and Pittsburgh Penguins, scoring 442 goals and recording 409 assists in 1,321 regular-season games. He won Stanley Cups in 2012 and 2014 with the Kings.
