57-year-old Indian national Jaspal Singh, awaiting deportation due to his 'illegal entry' into the US, tragically passed away at a hospital in Atlanta on April 15. Singh initially entered the US legally in 1992, but was ordered removed in 1998. He voluntarily returned to India before being arrested again for illegally reentering the US in 2023. The cause of Singh's death is pending an autopsy.
