36-year-old inmate found dead at Regina Correctional Centre; RCMP and Saskatchewan Coroners Service investigate. The inmate was discovered unresponsive on a living unit at the jail at 9:20 a.m., with staff and EMS attempting life-saving measures. The man was declared deceased around 10 a.m. The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety is also conducting an internal investigation.
