Gary Preston, 64, received a four-year and three-month jail sentence for a six-week hoax terror campaign in 2013, targeting schools, shopping centers, and businesses. Preston sent 42 envelopes containing white powder, later confirmed to be talcum powder, causing panic and evacuations. He was sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court after pleading guilty to 21 charges under the Anti-Terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001.
