Wellington, North Island launches the Youth Mental Health First Aid programme on May 20th.
Wellington, North Island's first region to benefit from the Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) programme, launches on May 20th. This internationally recognized initiative equips adults with skills to address mental health challenges and crises in youth aged 11-18. The 5-day Youth MHFA new instructor programme aims to produce a cohort of trainers who can take their knowledge back to their communities. MHFA Aotearoa offers additional programmes for adults and businesses.
