Taylor Kennedy, accused of impaired driving causing the death of a nine-year-old in Saskatoon in 2021, testified that she admitted to police having drugs in her system, including psilocybin mushrooms and cannabis, before the fatal accident. A voir-dire trial is being held to determine whether her statements to police should be admissible in the larger trial. Kennedy's defense argues that her statements violated her rights and other police violations.
