Rank Group reports 6% increase in net gaming revenue to £182.3m in Q1 2022, with Mecca venues' sales up 12%.
Rank Group, owner of Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor casino chain, has reported a 6% increase in net gaming revenue to £182.3m in the first three months of 2022, compared to the same period last year. Sales at Mecca venues jumped 12%, driven by a 5% rise in customer visits and a 7% increase in spend per visit. The company, which closed several sites last year due to heavy losses, saw strong trading over Mother's Day and Easter weekends.
