Pakistan's Punjab Education Authority has revised school timings for summer, adjusting from 7:45 am to 1:15 pm, with classes concluding at 11:45 am on Fridays, to protect children and staff from extreme heat. Double-shift schools will operate from 7:45 am to 12:15 pm and 12:45 pm to 5:15 pm. This is not the first time school hours have been adjusted for weather conditions, with similar changes made in the winter.
