Norwegian energy data companies TGS and PGS received Norwegian competition clearance for their planned merger, aiming to create the premier energy data company. The UK's Competition Market Authority is in its phase I review and has a deadline of 11 June to clear or escalate to phase II. The merger completion is anticipated during Q2 2024, subject to closing conditions and shareholder approvals.
