Midtown High School in Atlanta was placed on an interior lockdown after a threat was reported, but the lockdown was lifted around 12:30 p.m. after police searched the building and determined the threat to be a hoax. No active danger was found. Atlanta Public Schools officials are not revealing the nature of the threat at this time.
