2023 Ipsos poll shows UK's Conservative party support at record low 19%, PM Rishi Sunak's approval rating at -59, Labour leads by 21 points.
A recent Ipsos poll revealed that the UK's Conservative party's support has reached a record low of 19%, with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's approval rating at an all-time low of minus 59, equalling the worst on record for a premier, set by John Major in 1994. The poll also found that Labour holds a 21-point lead over the Conservatives on all significant political issues. The findings suggest that the Conservatives' position may not improve under a new leader, as none of the potential replacements are likely to perform much better in a head-to-head contest with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer.
