European Commission proposes new freedom-of-movement deal for UK 18-30-year-olds to live, work, or study in EU member states for up to four years.

The European Commission has proposed a new freedom-of-movement-style deal to potential future Labour government in the UK, enabling 18-30-year-olds to live, work, or study in EU member states for up to four years in return. If approved, the scheme would facilitate easier travel for young Europeans on both sides of the Channel, addressing decreased mobility following Brexit, particularly for opportunities in life, culture, education, research, and training exchanges.
