The Cubs made several roster moves to address their short bullpen, including optioning Daniel Palencia and Luke Little, recalling Hayden Wesneski, selecting Colten Brewer's contract from Triple-A Iowa, and transferring Julian Merryweather from the 15-day IL to the 60-day IL. This leaves Merryweather sidelined until at least June 6, while Brewer will join the 40-man roster.
