Chile's aviation authority reports an "involuntary movement forward" of the captain's seat on LATAM Airlines Flight 800, which plunged mid-flight on March 11. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner descended 400 feet during the flight from Australia to New Zealand. The cause of the sudden plunge is yet to be determined. Both the black box and the captain's seat will be sent to the United States for further investigation.
