2008 child killer Allan Schoenborn's hearing before the British Columbia Review Board was adjourned due to his lawyer Rishi Gill ceasing representation.
Allan Schoenborn's hearing before the British Columbia Review Board was abruptly adjourned after his lawyer, Rishi Gill, informed the board he would no longer represent Schoenborn in front of the current panel. Schoenborn, who was found not criminally responsible for killing his three children in 2008, has been held at the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital in Coquitlam, BC, since 2010. Schoenborn's lawyer, Rishi Gill, stated he continued to represent Schoenborn, but his decision was made after a disagreement with the board chair, who rejected his request for a brief adjournment. The Review Board plans to reschedule the hearing once Schoenborn has new counsel.
