California Water Service confirms its water systems meet the new state MCL of 10 ppb for chromium-6.

California Water Service (Cal Water) confirms its water systems meet the new state MCL of 10 ppb for chromium-6, adopted by the State Water Resources Control Board. Cal Water had already installed treatment for chromium-6 in some water systems in 2014, and plans to install treatment at new wells in Oak Hills and Dixon within the compliance timeline, ensuring all active wells above the MCL are treated. Cal Water is committed to meeting state and federal standards to protect public health and safety.
