Australian and international police forces arrested 37 individuals involved in operating cybercrime platform LabHost, used by 10,000 cybercriminals to steal data from 1M+ people worldwide.

In a joint operation, Australian federal, state, and local police forces arrested five individuals in Australia and 32 overseas following an international police takedown of the cybercrime platform LabHost. The platform was used by 10,000 cybercriminals globally to steal personal credentials from around 94,000 people in Australia and over 940,000 people worldwide. LabHost allowed users to create phishing websites targeting victims with texts or emails, stealing login credentials, credit card details, and other sensitive information.
