20-year-old Purdue University student, Alexander Foss from Minnesota, has been identified as the pilot who died in a small plane crash in northwest Indiana on April 11. Foss was a junior majoring in aviation flight at Purdue. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash, alongside the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office, the National Transportation Safety Board, and the Tippecanoe County Coroner's Office.
