44-year-old Ulices Pineda, main suspect in a 2023 murder case in Clarksburg, has died in jail. Charged with first-degree murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm, Pineda allegedly shot Clarksburg resident David Mazza in the back during a confrontation captured on surveillance footage. Police found the murder weapon during a search at Pineda's home, and he could have faced life imprisonment if convicted.
