21-year-old defenseman Logan Mailloux has been recalled by the Montreal Canadiens from the AHL's Laval Rocket for his NHL debut. Mailloux, who was drafted 31st overall by Montreal in 2021 despite facing charges and paying a fine for sharing an intimate photo without consent, will be making his debut in the final game of the NHL season against the Detroit Red Wings. Mailloux has played 70 games for the Laval Rocket this season, scoring 14 goals and 33 assists.
