Vinci acquires majority stake in Edinburgh Airport for £1.27bn, partnering with GIP.
Vinci, the French owner of Belfast and Gatwick airports, has agreed to buy a majority stake in Edinburgh Airport for around £1.27bn. Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) will retain a 49.99% stake in the airport after the deal and form a strategic partnership with Vinci. This follows a similar deal in 2019 where Vinci purchased a majority stake in London's Gatwick Airport.
