James Gunn's upcoming Superman movie casts veteran actor Pruitt Taylor Vince to play Jonathan Kent (Pa Kent), the adoptive father of the iconic superhero. Vince, known for roles in Mississippi Burning, Jacob's Ladder, and JFK, joins an ensemble cast including David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. The film, part of DC Studios' "Chapter One: Gods and Monsters," is set for release on July 11, 2025.
