Uttar Pradesh (UP) holds the most Geographical Indication (GI)-tagged items in India, reaching 75 after six new products received certification. The famous Tirangi Barfi of Kashi, Banaras Metal Casting Craft, Lakhimpur Kheri Tharu Embroidery, Bareilly Cane and Bamboo Craft, Bareilly Zardozi Craft, and Pilkhuwa Hand Block Print Textile were recognized, solidifying UP's leadership in GI products.
