The US has encouraged India and Pakistan to find a resolution through dialogue, avoiding escalation, in response to statements by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on crossing borders to kill terrorists. US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller stated that the US would not involve itself in the matter, but encouraged both nations to resolve conflicts peacefully.
