20-year Sainsbury's employee Niamke Doffou was fired for taking unpaid "bags for life."

Sainsbury's worker Niamke Doffou, who had worked for the supermarket for almost 20 years, was sacked for taking some "bags for life" without paying for them. Doffou worked at the Romford Sainsbury's store as a night shift assistant and clicked the "zero bags used" option on the till when he had in fact used multiple carrier bags. He claimed he was unfairly dismissed, but his appeal was unsuccessful.
