Rory McIlroy confirms commitment to PGA Tour, denies LIV Golf involvement and $850m offer.
World No. 2 golfer Rory McIlroy has dismissed rumors of a move to LIV Golf and confirmed his commitment to the PGA Tour. McIlroy, a four-time major winner, denied having been offered $850m to join the Saudi Arabian-backed circuit, stating he has never been offered a number from LIV and never contemplated going to LIV. McIlroy has been a vocal critic of LIV Golf since its launch in 2021.
