Pedestrian dies after being hit by a vehicle at 2:45 pm on Ruapehu Street, Taupo. The incident occurred in a business premises carpark, with the driver and two others transported to the hospital for minor to moderate injuries. The Serious Crash Unit investigated the scene, and the area has since been reopened.
