Tracy Langkilde, Penn State's Eberly College of Science dean, has been appointed as interim executive vice president and provost, following Justin Schwartz's departure. Schwartz was named the sole finalist for chancellor at the University of Colorado Boulder. In her new role, Langkilde will lead Penn State's academic units and participate in senior administrative roles. A search for a permanent provost will begin soon.
