NSW National Parks to conduct hazard reduction burn at Beowa National Park's Pinnacles.

The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service plans a hazard reduction burn in Beowa National Park's Pinnacles visitor precinct on April 18, 2024 (weather permitting). The burn, part of a pine eradication program, will temporarily close the area and may cause visible smoke in other park sections and surrounding areas. Visitors with health conditions can sign up for air quality alerts.
