Gaming startup LightFury Games, founded by Unacademy ex-CXO Karan Shroff, raises $8.5M in seed funding led by Blume Ventures, Mixi, and Gemba Capital. The funding will be used to develop AAA games in India and the UK, aiming to establish a presence similar to Tencent and hire top talent. India, the largest gaming market with 568M gamers, contributes 20% of global mobile game downloads.
