49ers re-sign Trent Taylor to a one-year deal, returning as both a wide receiver and kick/punt returner. Taylor, drafted by the 49ers in 2017, spent time with the Bengals (2021-2022) and Bears (2023) but will now rejoin the team to fill the void left by Ray-Ray McCloud's departure to the Falcons. Taylor's primary role will be on special teams, as the 49ers seek to address their needs in kick and punt return.
