Asian Development Bank approves €46.3m loan to improve healthcare access in Georgia.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a €46.3 million ($50 million) policy-based loan to improve access to quality and affordable healthcare in Georgia. The loan will be disbursed upon the government implementing reforms to enhance health sector governance, increase publicly funded primary healthcare, and improve the sector's operational efficiency and financial sustainability. ADB's Health Sector Enhancement Programme aims to help the poor, women, and vulnerable groups in Georgia.
