21 Sri Lankan crewmen were rescued by Iranian authorities from a sinking Cook Islands-flagged tanker in the Gulf of Oman, according to Iran's state news agency IRNA. The tanker, carrying oil, suffered damage 50 km off the coast of Jask in Iran due to a storm. Five crew members, who required medical attention, are reported to be in good physical condition after receiving treatment from Jask emergency services.
