Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky has made a takeover bid for Royal Mail owner, International Distribution Services (IDS), which was rejected by IDS. Kretinsky's EP Group proposed an all-cash offer to buy the remaining shares in IDS that it does not already own. The company rejected the proposal, stating it significantly undervalues IDS and its future prospects. IDS owns Royal Mail and Dutch parcels business GLS.
