BOSA leader Mmusi Maimane led a picket outside the Department of Education in Kimberley, Northern Cape, demanding public access to the sexual offenders register in schools. This follows 15 reported cases of sexual assault against teachers and principals in the province. BOSA calls for police clearance for all employees and public availability of the offenders register to ensure parents can monitor and protect their children from predators in the school system.
