5 youths connected to stolen vehicle apprehended in Hawke's Bay; road spikes used but recovered by public.
Hawke's Bay Police apprehended five youths in connection with a stolen vehicle incident. The blue Toyota Aqua hatchback was spotted in Otane on Sunday and police deployed road spikes to immobilize it, but the spikes were taken by the public before they could be recovered. The youths were found nearby, and are now under the care of Youth Aid Services. Police are seeking information on the location of the road spikes.
