Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has appointed David Casey, a former deputy secretary of the state's Department of Revenue, to serve as the department's secretary, effective April 29. Casey, who has nearly three decades of experience in state tax agencies, will bring his expertise in tax compliance and fraud prevention to the role. His appointment is subject to Senate confirmation. Casey previously served as revenue secretary from 2019-22.
