Vietnam Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son emphasized the country's commitment to strengthening traditional friendship and cooperation with Benin. Son proposed accelerating the implementation of the two ministries' MoU on cooperation signed in December 2023, and Bakari suggested the countries expedite negotiations to sign an MoU on agriculture. Both agreed to increase delegation exchanges and create favorable conditions for their businesses.
