This universal vaccine strategy could eliminate the need for annual flu shots and updated COVID vaccines, as it can be safely used in babies and immunocompromised individuals. The vaccine, which has been tested on mice, uses small interfering RNA molecules instead of relying on the body's traditional immune response.
