A truck crash on State Highway 25 south of Whangamata has blocked one lane and brought live power lines down, causing the road to be initially closed in both directions. The truck driver sustained moderate injuries and was removed from the vehicle safely. One lane was reopened after 12:30 pm, but delays and alternative routes are advised. The other lane may remain closed for several hours.
