Richmond implements a curfew for juveniles at 11pm in response to a surge in gun violence, following eight deaths since March 31st, with four of the victims being juveniles. A special task force within the police department, along with Virginia State Police, will increase their presence in at-risk neighborhoods to reduce gun-related injuries. The initiative, known as 'Operation Safe Summer', is set to begin early to combat the recent wave of violence.
