Queensland's AgForce's request for funding from National Farmers' Fighting Fund to challenge CO2 waste injection into the Great Artesian Basin was denied. Despite this, the National Farmers Federation and other industry bodies will contribute undisclosed funds to support AgForce's legal costs. The National Farmers Federation does not believe legal proceedings are the best course of action at this stage.
