Minor fire in North Block, high-security building in New Delhi, extinguished by Delhi Fire Service without injuries.
A minor fire broke out on the second floor of North Block, a high-security building housing the Ministries of Home Affairs and Personnel in New Delhi on April 16. The Delhi Fire Service received a call at 9:22 am and dispatched seven fire tenders. The fire was extinguished by 9:35 am with no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation and some furniture was damaged.
