Meta's Threads app, a social media competitor to Twitter, is testing a new feature that allows users to filter search results by recency. The "Recent" filter helps users find more recent posts rather than relying on the algorithmically-defined "Top" feed. Instagram head Adam Mosseri confirmed the limited test, available to only a few users, to make it easier to find relevant search results in real-time.
