Los Alamos National Laboratory, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), and NVIDIA have collaborated on Venado, the lab's newest supercomputer. Venado, an HPE Cray EX supercomputer with NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper Superchips, was unveiled on April 15 at the lab's Nicholas C. Metropolis Center for Modeling and Simulation. The supercomputer will advance national security and basic research missions while accelerating the integration of AI. The NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchips combine an Arm-based central processor.
